From two-wheeler shop to renowned parts manufacturer
A good 50 years ago, a passion for motorised two-wheelers, especially those of Italian origin, prompted brothers Andrea and Gianni Esposti to open a small shop for two-wheeler spare parts in Milan. The well-stocked shop soon became known beyond Milan's borders and its products were in ever greater demand. The logical consequence of this was that the two brothers began to manufacture their own spare and tuning parts for mopeds and other two-wheelers under the Olympia brand. The business continued to expand and became one of the top addresses for mechanics who wanted to repair or customise their mopeds with first-class parts. The breakthrough for the company was certainly the collaboration with Piaggio. Olympia supplied numerous clutch components for the legendary moped manufacturer from Pontedera.
