A revolution in rust protection!
Do you own a rare classic car with a beautiful patina, and want to preserve its paint from deterioration for decades to come? Then this product is perfect for you.
Rustol OWATROL Rust and Paint Sealer is more than just a rust converter.
When applied repeatedly with a cotton cloth, the oil penetrates deep into the rust down to the sound metal. It provides deep-penetrating protection by displacing air and moisture.
This transparent oil is characterized by the following properties:
- Forms a surface impregnation.
- Suitable as a topcoat or as a primer for subsequent painting.
- Displaces moisture and air from the rust pores and penetrates down to the “sound” metal.
- Remains permanently elastic even after drying, yet hard enough for subsequent painting.
When applying, the OWATROL oil is applied generously in several coats until the rust is thoroughly saturated throughout its entire thickness. Before any subsequent coating, the oil should be allowed to dry and cure for at least 24 hours at 20°C.
The oil has extremely low surface tension, is three times “wetter” than water, and can therefore be applied when warmed (approx. 35°C) using a standard flow or suction cup spray gun.
