Do you have a rare classic car with a beautiful patina whose paintwork you want to preserve from decay for decades to come? Then this product is made for you.
Rustol OWATROL Rust and Paint Sealer is more than just a rust converter.
Applied several times with a cotton cloth, the &Oum;l penetrates deep into the rust down to the healthy metal. It protects deeply by displacing air and moisture.
This transparent oil is characterized by the following properties:
- Forms a surface impregnation.
- Suitable as a top coat or as a base coat for subsequent painting.
- Displaces moisture and air from the rust pores and penetrates to the «healthy» metal.
- Remains permanently elastic even after drying, but hard enough for subsequent painting.
During application, the OWATROL Öl is applied generously in several passes until the rust is completely penetrated.
Before any subsequent coating, the Öl should be allowed to dry and react for at least 24 hours at 20°C.
The Öl has an extremely low surface tension, is three times «wetter» than water and can therefore be applied in a heated state (approx. 35 °C) with a commercially available flow or suction cup spray gun.
This unique rust protection agent is the ideal choice to protect your classic car against rust formation in the long term and to preserve the natural substance.
