Do you have a rare classic car with a beautiful patina whose paintwork you want to preserve from decay for decades to come? Then this product is made for you.
Prepare the surface to be treated with 1 - 2 coats of Rustol OWATROL Rust and Paint Sealer.
The rust sealer can then be sprayed / painted with several coats of Deks Olje, which cures completely after 5 - 7 days and becomes abrasion-resistant.
This transparent sealer is characterized by the following properties:
- It produces a flexible film that does not crack, crack or peel.
- High-gloss finish
- Highly transparent Öl lacquer
- Provides long-lasting protection
- No sanding between coats
Application:
- 3 - 6 coats at intervals of min. 12 hours apart at 20° C.
- Do not sand between coats.
- Dry for at least 3 - 4 days before putting the object back into use.
- Remove drips and drips immediately during application. Dried D2 is very difficult to remove completely.
The oil has an extremely low surface tension, is three times «wetter» than water and can therefore be applied in a heated state (approx. 35 °C) with a commercially available flow or suction cup spray gun.
