Do you own a rare classic car that you want to protect from deterioration for decades to come? Then this product is perfect for you.
Rustol OWATROL C.I.P. Rust Sealer and Primer.
This product is perfectly suited to effectively seal even advanced rust formation deep down. OWATROL Rust Sealer has a dark red hue. Treated parts can be painted directly with a coat of paint. However, if you want to preserve your vehicle’s patina, we recommend the clear OWATROL Oil, which can be found in the accessories section.
This rust-proofing primer is applied with a brush. It provides deep-penetrating protection by displacing air and moisture.
The following properties characterize this rust-protective paint:
- Forms a surface sealant.
- Suitable as a topcoat or as a primer for subsequent painting.
- Displaces moisture and air from rust pores and penetrates down to the “sound” metal.
- Remains permanently elastic even after drying, yet hard enough for subsequent painting
When applying, the OWATROL oil is applied generously in several coats until the rust is thoroughly saturated throughout its entire thickness. Before applying any subsequent coat, the oil should be allowed to dry and cure for at least 24 hours at 20°C.
