NGK BR8HIX iridium spark plug with short thread, designed to reduce interference, suitable for various mopeds and small motorcycles.
This spark plug is compatible with the following mopeds, among others: Alpa Cross 2000, Alpa Grand Sport, Alpa Cristall 50/2, Alpa Panda, Cilo Cross, KTM GTX 503, Piaggio Boss, Piaggio Boxer, Piaggio Bravo, Piaggio Ciao, Piaggio Si, Pony GT Cross, Pony GTA, Pony GTX, Pony Junior 50/2, Pony Junior 503, Puch Maxi S, Puch Maxi N, Puch Maxi N Chopper, Puch Maxi Plus, Puch X30 Sport NS / NL, Puch X30 Velux, Puch Supermaxi, Sachs Rixe 50/2, Sachs Turbo, Sachs 503, etc.
Iridium spark plugs feature an iridium alloy tip on the center electrode. The precious metal iridium does not melt until 2450 °C and is therefore highly resistant to spark erosion. The service life of these spark plugs is twice as long as that of conventional spark plugs. The 0.6 mm thin center electrode significantly reduces the ignition voltage required and contributes to improved flame front propagation in the combustion chamber.
Note: For official MFK approval, the ignition system must include a noise-suppressed component. This spark plug is noise-suppressed and can therefore be used on public roads in combination with a non-noise-suppressed spark plug connector.
