Reproduction of the original Puch E50 gearbox, consisting of a clutch basket and a spur gear suitable for your Puch Maxi and Supermaxi P1 moped / moped with E50 and E50A engine.
The original clutch and starter clutch can be used with this basket.
Normal gear ratio of 19:96 teeth with helical toothing.
The helical-toothed gears run more smoothly than straight-toothed gears.
Clutch basket:
- Welded press fit, no spinning possible, even under higher loads
- Special sliding bush is already press-fitted
Spur gear:
- Spur gear made from cast material
- Slightly more solid design than original
Notes: Clutch basket and spur gear should always be used together. There may be a slight "singing" when the clutch basket is used with the original spur gear. This gearbox is suitable for the 3-bearing and 4-bearing housings. Depending on the tolerances, shims may need to be used so that the gear wheel does not rub against the housing.
