Ready-to-install rope starter for clockwise rotating Puch E50 engines on your Puch Maxi S / N or Puch Supermaxi LG1 moped / moped. Can only be fitted in conjunction with an original Bosch / Ducati ignition.
Made in Switzerland. Designed for the highest loads and proven in racing.
Fitting:
1. Starter pinion: Clean the flywheel, then screw the counterpart for the cable starter onto the pole wheel (secure with Loctite).
2. Pull-wire starter: Position the starter housing correctly and tap lightly with a plastic hammer until the pull-wire starter is perfectly seated. It can then be screwed into place.
Application:
1. Before starting, pull the cable slowly a few times so that the engine turns over empty (must be done before each start attempt).
2. Pull out the cable starter handle until it engages fully and you encounter resistance. Then pull through in one go.
Tip: Wear gloves! Hold the handle firmly.
Note: The pedal mechanism can no longer be operated as the pedal arms would come into contact with the housing of the pull starter. Therefore, footrests, a longer pedal axle or a pedal axle extension must be fitted.
