Solvent-based tank sealant that prevents rust formation, seals small leaks and provides long-lasting protection for the tank of your moped, scooter or motorcycle.
The two-part tank sealant consists of a rust converter and a tank sealant. This slow-curing, permanently flexible and 100% ethanol-resistant mixture provides an ideal, durable protective layer. The special long-term coating is also suitable for diesel and oil tanks.
Contents:
- Rust converter 250 ml
- Tank sealant 175 ml
Application:
- Rust off the tank with Sigg’s rust converter and wash out with acetone
- Let the tank dry completely
- Pour the appropriate amount of resin into the tank and swirl carefully
- üstore the excess resin in a separate, airtight container
- If necessary, apply further coats of sealer at intervals. Apply further coats of sealant at intervals of approx. 8 - 24 hours
- allow to dry for at least seven days
The product comes with detailed instructions in German, French and Italian.
The can can be stored for at least 12 months in its original sealed container.
Note: Wear protective clothing, eye and face protection. Also be sure to protect all painted areas and follow the instructions to prevent damage.
If you have an angled tank, you should extend the drying time by a few days to ensure the gasoline resistance.
