Special rust conversion spray for combating surface rust and as a primer for your moped, moped or small motorcycle.
This rust primer serves as a rust remover and primer for surfaces to be painted in a single operation. Together with the rust present on the surface, the epoxy resin-based anti-rust spray forms a metallic-organic iron complex, which provides an ideal basis for subsequent painting. The black rust protection primer is suitable for all rusted steel surfaces and offers long-lasting protection against renewed corrosion.
Properties:
- Renewable rust protection and rust converter as well as a preventative measure against renewed corrosion.
- Rust is converted into a water-insoluble, black, organic iron complex and thus protects against external influences.
- Perfect film formation and air drying .
- Easy to spray on and excellent creep properties.
- Compatible with all commercially available fillers, putties and top coats
- When using 2-component paints, we recommend testing the compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
- Very good solvent resistance and free of heavy metals and acids.
Application:
- Shake the can thoroughly for approx. 2 - 3 minutes before use.
- Remove any loose rust, grease, dirt and paint residue infiltrated with rust, brush off if necessary.
- Apply 3 - 4 coats at a distance of approx. 25 cm, depending on the degree of rust.
- Can be painted over after approx. 6 hours, depending on the outside temperature.
- Additional stoving makes the protective layer particularly resistant to water, salt water and solvents. Allow the sprayed-on layer to dry for approx. 15 minutes, then bake: 15 minutes at 160 °C.
