Danger:
"Presto" brand cold shock spray.
Briefly lowers the temperature to as low as -50°C. This makes it ideal for installing bearings. The motor housing is heated with a heat gun or on a stovetop. The bearing is cooled down with the cold spray. The fitting area in the motor housing expands slightly, while the bearing shell contracts. This allows the shell to be easily inserted into the housing.
In addition, the silicone-free spray makes it easier to loosen stuck fasteners such as screws or nuts.
Caution: If used improperly, the cold shock can cause your limbs to freeze.
