Danger:
Presto brand cold shock spray.
Reduces the temperature to -50°C for a short time. This makes it ideal for mounting bearings. The engine housing is heated with the hot air fan or on a hotplate. The bearing is cooled down with the ice spray. The fitting point in the engine housing expands slightly and the bearing shell contracts. The shell can therefore simply be placed in the housing.
In addition, the silicone-free spray facilitates the disassembly of fixed connections such as screws or nuts.
Attention: the cold shock can lead to icing of the limbs if used improperly.
