Polini has placed particular emphasis on size and weight in the development of the CP model; this carburetor is therefore particularly compact and around 40% lighter than traditional carburetors.
Due to the compact design, the intake path is very short. Unique is the concentric design of the passage, i.e. a circular passage instead of an oval one as with most other carburettors - a geometry that optimizes the air flow. Modifications to the mixing tube and the use of a larger needle ensure better atomization of the gas mixture.
This is intended to simplify the tuning of the carburetor and enable high performance with low consumption. All CP carburetors have an oil and vacuum connection.
A rubber sleeve (item no. 15414) is used to attach the carburetor to the intake manifold.
