The task of the air filter on your moped is initially to prevent dust and dirt particles from entering the engine, where they could cause damage. However, the filter, or rather its design, can also have a significant influence on the performance of your moped. Equipping your Sachs moped with a sports air filter, for example, can slightly improve acceleration and top speed. Of course, you should not expect miracles from this measure alone.
