Six lifts. Your own project. A professional workshop and someone from the team nearby if you ever get stuck.

In our Open Garage, you can work on your moped yourself. Reserve a lift, bring your project, and get started. Sigg or someone from the team will be on-site to help you with any questions, offering tips, tricks, and our expertise.

Important to note:
The Open Garage isn’t a supervised workshop where a specialist is at your side for the entire rental period. We’ll help you if you get stuck, show you a possible solution, or work with you to figure out how to move forward. But you’re the one doing the work.

We specialize in manual transmission engines and single-speed engines with centrifugal clutches.

Hours:
Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Notes:
• Everyone works on their own project.
• A specialist is available to support you and help with questions by offering tips and tricks. Continuous supervision throughout the entire rental period is not provided.
• A workstation, hand tools, and hearing and eye protection are available to you during the rental.
• Open-toed shoes are not permitted in the workshop.
• At the end of your rental period, the workstation must be tidied up and cleaned before you leave. The latest return time is 10:00 PM.
• All machines in the machining room are operated exclusively by us. These include, among others, the lathe, milling machine, and welding equipment. This is for insurance and maintenance reasons.
• Smaller jobs taking up to about 10 minutes can be handled directly by us whenever possible. Larger jobs will be quoted separately and carried out on a later Open Garage Day.
• Among other things, we can turn or mill small parts and perform repairs using our soldering and welding equipment.
• You can either bring the necessary replacement parts yourself or select them with our assistance and order them for a future Open Garage Day.
• We do not offer a parts store and cannot possibly keep all replacement parts for every project in stock.
• Consumables such as cleaning supplies, rags, screws, and similar items are included.
• A small selection of beverages is available for purchase.
• The following applies to test drives: Our workshop is located on publicly accessible grounds. Therefore, the same rules apply as on public roads.

If you do not have access to a printer, copies are available on site. This must be filled out and signed before the course begins. For minors, filling it out on site is only possible if a parent or legal guardian is present.
