Transmission gear ratio for Piaggio mopeds / mopeds with variomatic transmission (Ciao, Si, Bravo, Boxer, Grillo).
This transmission is longer than the original Piaggio gear ratios fitted in Switzerland.
The longer gear ratio ensures more top speed, but less acceleration.
Note that the ratio changes further depending on the size of the rim (17" spoke rims more speed / 16" cast rims more traction).
