Trip 1: Italy – or maybe Saint-Tropez?
All beginnings are chaotic
Roger: Planning, action & an ice-cold hot tub
My mission: to find a location in Italy – easy, I thought. Then came plan B because of the weather: instead of Italy, it was Saint-Tropez. So I checked out mopeds, packed outfits, organized equipment and then set off on my journey.
On site, I was the all-rounder: filming, taking photos, scouting locations – and occasionally in front of the camera myself. My highlight? An epic calendar photo in the evening sun. The biggest challenge? Getting everything done when time is tight. Oh yes, and the legendary hot tub: after 100 liters of hot water, it was just 1 degree warmer – and the apartment had no hot water left. Perfect start!
And then the purchase of a moped that no one had planned: zero knowledge of Italian, but total chaos – just what our story needed.
In the end, the main feeling that remains is that this trip brought us together as a team. Everyone gave it their all, the spirit was brutal – and of course Flo was last on the track as always. Classic.
Florian: Chaos, creativity and the slowest moped
My job? Organizing the daily schedule, finding the best spots and documenting everything for YouTube and Instagram. Then came Roman's surprise: instead of Italy, it was suddenly Saint-Tropez. All my planning? Down the drain. But hey, flexibility is our middle name.
What was special for me was how different we are – and yet feel the same. Roger, who plunges into adventure with his camera, Roman, who tracks down the perfect locations, and Nöldi, who was new at the beginning and fully immersed by the end. And then my highlight: my Super Bravo. Beautiful, but painfully slow. And of course the chaos with the locked gas cap – no key, no gas, but a lot of laughter.
The whole thing was a wild mix of spontaneity, creativity and team spirit – exactly what mofakult is all about.
Armin: My perfect start to the mofakult family
My job: managing social media and YouTube – and joining the team at the same time. I was the newcomer, but the guys took me in immediately. I was given a lot of freedom in my work right away, along with valuable tips.
It was the best start to a new job that I could have imagined. After just a short time, I realized that I had made the right decision in changing jobs. The spirit of mofakult – the mixture of work, fun and passion – is unique. And then the absolute highlight: the spontaneous purchase of my Benelli E3 in Nice. A moment I will never forget.
Roman: Spontaneity, organization & lots of chaos
My role? Making decisions, keeping the team together – and, of course, spontaneously switching from Italy to France. My job was to keep an eye on the big picture and make sure we got the best out of every situation.
My favorite part? All the little chaotic moments – from improvised hot tub heating to police checks. And of course the legendary kitchen table tuning spot for Flos Mofa. This trip was pure energy, and that's what makes it unforgettable.
Conclusion: A trip to remember
This early start to the season was more than just a trip – it was a real experience. It brought us closer together as a team, gave us new perspectives and showed us what is possible with passion, spontaneity and team spirit. No matter where the next trip takes us, we know that the most important thing is not the destination, but the people you travel with. And with this team, anything is possible.
